The reason for his visit is to be present at the dedication of the grotto to Our Lady which was recently constructed at St. Matthew’s.

After being picked up at the airport, Mar Sarhad was able to enjoy a welcoming lunch at the home of Youtham and Mariam Khanania. It is always a great joy for His Excellency, Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo to visit the Assyrian families who joined St. Peter Diocese when Mar Bawai Soro and those clergy and faithful who accompanied him were welcomed into the Chaldean Catholic Church.
