How To Go To Confession<\/h2>\n

For Children Ages 7+<\/h4>\n<\/div>

  1. The Priest will greet you and together you say: “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”<\/b><\/li>\n
  2. You say: “Forgive me Father for I have sinned.”<\/b><\/span> You tell the priest how long it has been since your last confession.<\/li>\n
  3. You tell the priest your sins.<\/li>\n
  4. The priest talks with you and gives you a penance.<\/li>\n
  5. You pray the Act of Contrition. (See below.)<\/li>\n
  6. The priest prays the words of absolution. Your sins are forgiven.<\/li>\n
  7. You then say, “Thank you, Father.” You leave to do your penance and spend time in prayer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>
